MISSION STATEMENT:  Kurt Schumacher and Allen Glover are the College & NFL handicappers for Football Forecasters... for us it's more than a seasonal weekend hobby. We track College and NFL football movements year round... nothing but football.  In season we give our College and NFL football picks and logical analysis against the Vegas line every week.  Be aware that this is a dynamic site, we actively upgrade/downgrade the selections through out the week.   Check in by the middle of the week for a listing of games we have selected, AND be sure to check in before game time, as occasionally one or both of us will zone in on a play an hour before kick-off.  We'll make 1-9 combined College and Pro football picks a week. We do not promise to pick 100% winners. However, historically we will pick a majority of winners over the course of the year.  Expectations are too pick a simple majority, a 54-66%  winning ratio is a realistic goal.   You will serve as our sports monitor, all of our picks will be stored on a weekly basis in the "Past Picks" link at the top of the home page.  If you have a question about a pick result e-mail us.

There are over 2000 lines posted on the net. It is your responsibility to shop for the best line you can find.  We post our opinions as to what we feel are the best picks each week. However it is the visitor's responsibility to perform his or her own analysis of each opinion on it's own merit. Hopefully we are of some help to you in your handicapping analysis

Two seasons ago we received an e-mail saying he "needed a winner", asking on a scale of 1-10 "how strong" our A+ play was this week.  We replied that it's wrong about 30% of the time...so it must be a "7".  Unfortunately that weeks play was in the 30% category.  Folks there's no such thing as a lock...if you need one then you're in the wrong place and playing the wrong game.  We strongly recommend a short read on Money Management linked both here, and on our home page.  It's important to keep things in perspective, and stay centered over the course of the year.  Keep yourself balanced regarding your football action - don't fly too high, or you bound to die; don't get too low or your bound to go.

Kurt Schumacher graduated from high school in the early 80's. He played varsity sports and was an avid chess player.  Kurt has earned a degree in business, and a degree in Applied Instrumentation Technology. Kurt is a gifted and expert analyst of NFL football.  He has lived in Alaska, Idaho, Arizona, Hawaii, California, and Nevada. He now makes his home in Alaska, where he raises his family. Kurt's has lived in and trapped the remote Alaska bush, he has experience in gold mining, & commercial fishing. He worked as a union construction worker in Reno Nevada, where he became adept at card counting and winning Blackjack - which was a lot more fun than pounding nails. 

Allen Glover graduated from high school in the mid 80's. He was a gifted athlete and attended College on a basketball scholarship. Allen has been a College & NFL football fan for most of his life. Allen plays sports year round, he is an avid softball and hockey player, and is a youth league hockey coach.  He was raised in Mississippi, and has lived in California, Florida and Alaska - where he now raises his family. Allen is a dedicated husband & father who's sons are involved in athletics year round. Allen is a hockey booster at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. He attends all of their home games and frequently travels with the team on road trips - where he likes to take the opportunity to attend College football games.
