| BYU @Hawaii | L | 12/07/01 A flip for us from Hawaii as an also like to BYU as a 3% play. Even without Staley the Cougars have the weapons and the incentive to roll the Rainbow's. They won't be in the Islands for a vacation. |
ALSO LIKES: Tennessee Southern Miss

| Washington @Arizona | W | 12/04/01 The Skins have struggled as a favorite but seem to do well when not much is expected of them. They've beaten Philly and Denver on the road and are listed as a pick'em at Arizona. The Cardinals are off two road upsets against non-conference foes (who may have take them lightly), giving us excellent line value here. Washington has the secondary to contain Boston & Plummer and should be focused for this division contest. A Play |

| Over 37 Car/Buff | W | 12/5/01 Carolina has been scoring points and giving them up too, they have the leagues 31st rated pass defense. Buffalo's Van Pelt has been an improvement at QB. This is Buffalo's best shot at finally winning a home game. Defense is about pride & intensity, of which these two 1 win teams have neither, we're anticipating a loose game with liberal scoring. |
| Jets(+) @Pittsburgh | L | 12/5/01 We're throwing the stats out the window and taking the Jets catching the Steelers in a nice spot here. While we respect Pittsburgh we feel they have played a much softer non-conference schedule. The Jets meanwhile have played in 6 games against teams with winning records, including San Francisco & St Louis (losses). NY is undefeated on the road and this one is a short trip. The Jets have faired poorly against pass oriented offenses but have done well against teams with good dee's and running games (road wins against Miami & New Orleans) What we like most about this contest is that Pittsburgh has a key division game on deck at Baltimore. We're taking the Jets and the strong field goal. B+ Play |
| @Philly vs SanDiego | W | 12/04/01 Our Scorecast has this as a TD game. However the Chargers are playing their 4th roadie in 5 weeks, they're going against a team that takes pride in playing good defense while SD's own Dee has struggled on the road. Philly has the shutdown corners to make it a long day for the struggling Chargers. |
